Here is a listing of Testimonials from the 2007 Symposium. Here is a listing of testimonials from last year's symposium. Edgardo, this was a phenomenal meeting. I am proud to be a part of a meeting that is represented by podiatric and orthopedic attendees. The national and international core of lecturers also added excellent diversity to the meeting. The use of the Orthopedic Learning Center provided excellent audio-visual capabilities. There is nothing better than seeing a live cadaver demonstration on a huge blockbuster movie screen. What can I say, I can't wait till next year! Narendra R. Patel, DPM FACFAS As a young foot and ankle surgeon involved with a diligent orthopaedic group, the CLESS has already helped refine my skills to more effectively treat my patients. It's been my understanding as both a student and educator that the best learning experiences occur when there is a commitment, enthusiasm, and desire to share knowledge from the educational faculty. I profited greatly from the discussions I had with surgeons from the United States, Russia, Italy, and Mexico. The American College of Surgeons Murphy's Auditorium served as sacred setting for lecture presentations, while the AAOS Orthopaedic Learning Center took surgical workshops to the next level. Chicago is the ideal background for this edifying event! Michael Canales, DPM The 2008 CLESS was an outstanding experience. It started off talking about deformity correction with external fixation from Russian physicians with years of experience and expertise. It is very rare to get the lectures and hands on experience we received in the United States; usually you are required to travel abroad for this. There was also excellent lectures on the myriad of BMP's, DBM's, PDGFs, and Mesenchymal Stem cells and which is best for different applications. Lastly, the 3rd day consisted of a lab with new surgical techniques and the latest technology to perform on cadavers. Overall a great experience! Rob Amiot, DPM FACFAS The CLESS meeting in Chicago brings together some of the top experts from the US and around the world who are on the front edge of research, innovation and techniques in foot and ankle care. Combining practical surgical knowledge with advanced research is what the CLESS meetings bring to the advanced practitioner. Experts from abroad like Drs Samkuchov, Kirienko and Cherkashin bring heavy credibility to the faculty and lend a fresh perspective on surgical treatment. The advanced skills cadaveric workshops tie it all together in to a great meeting and a good value for CME. The CLESS sessions set a standard in continuing education for the cutting edge foot and ankle surgeon. Paul Bishop, DPM FACFAS |
